The social media platform “X” – formerly known as Twitter – now allows subscribers of the “Blue Badge” service to hide it from their profiles. The feature comes after the badge became a source of embarrassment for many users following Elon Musk’s acquisition of the company.
Users can subscribe to the blue badge service for a fee ranging between $8 and $11, gaining additional benefits such as reduced ads, the ability to post longer content and videos, and the option to delete or edit posts.
Previously, before Musk made the blue badge a paid feature, it was free and exclusively reserved for verified accounts.
